The findings list is where discovery becomes action: review what was found, export it for remediation workflows, and clean up findings you have handled.
Reviewing findings
Each finding shows the entity type, masked value, confidence score, and file location (see Reading findings). Sort and filter by entity type, confidence, or path to prioritize high-risk hits — for example, national IDs in shared folders.
Bulk selection and deletion
Select findings
Use the row checkboxes, or the header checkbox to select all findings in the current view.
Click Delete selected
A confirmation dialog states exactly how many findings will be removed.
Confirm
Confirm to delete. Deletion removes the finding records from the local database — it does not modify or delete the underlying files.
Bulk delete is available only when the delete-findings setting is enabled in Settings. Organizations that require an immutable local audit trail can leave it disabled, which hides delete actions entirely.
Export and download
Export the current findings (respecting active filters) to a file for remediation tracking or reporting. Exports contain masked values only — full matched values are never written out.
Mis-click protection
After any destructive action (such as a bulk delete), adjacent action buttons are disabled for 1.2 seconds. This prevents a double-click or a late click from triggering an unintended second action — for example, accidentally hitting Export or another Delete while the list re-renders under your cursor.
Deleted findings are gone from the local database and cannot be restored. If you need the records, export before deleting.
A common workflow: filter to a single entity type, export the list for the remediation owner, fix the files, re-scan the folder, then bulk delete the resolved findings.
